Shannon Fest resumes at the final whistle, and we are going to have a stupid amount of fun at it anyway.

The box
Something from the Audi Collection
Shipped UPS Ground out of the Halo warehouse on the 28th, and in Madison ahead of the weekend.
Drawn in its settled state: rail complete, no tracking number, no carrier link — the tracker kept as a memento with the number gone. If you'd rather it came out entirely, this whole block is what gets deleted.
Colophon
Palette
Paper is her seat leather, sampled from a photograph and lifted for reading. Greys are Audi's published CI ramp. The accent is Progressive Red #F50537 — Audi's own, and per their rules never lightened, darkened or made transparent. It covers well under two percent of the page; nearly all of it is the tail light.
Type
System stacks only — no web fonts, so this survives a Content-Security-Policy with no external hosts. Display weight is 300, not bold: Audi's display voice is thin and wide.
Audi's identity manual states that its typography never appears in uppercase. So uppercase here is confined to the timing board and the reference codes, where it reads as instrumentation rather than as brand type.
Motion
- Scroll-driven CSS (animation-timeline: view()), with an IntersectionObserver fallback for Firefox, which still lacks it in stable.
- The studio band is raw WebGL — one quad, one fragment shader, no library. The light sweep is driven by scroll position, the tail-light bloom by time, and the parallax by the pointer. Falls back to the plain image where WebGL is unavailable.
- Easing is expo-out (.16, 1, .3, 1).
- Every section is fully legible with all motion switched off.
Decided
- The splash gate survives. Press start still runs the cosmos sequence; the tail-light masthead is what you land on when it ends.
- The box section stays, stripped: rail complete, no tracking number, no carrier link. It is a memento now, not a tracker.
- The trailer sits after Freya and loads only on press, so the page still makes no external request until you ask it to.
- The studio band is Audi's configurator render, recoloured to Freya's grey. A profile photograph of her would retire it.
